Rick Gabbianelli is senior vice president, Strategy, where he leads the identification and implementation of the company’s key strategic priorities, such as sustaining growth, prioritizing strategic investments, and analyzing and prioritizing opportunities to sell and build new plants.
Since joining Westinghouse in 1996, Mr. Gabbianelli has held positions of increasing responsibility related to finance and strategy activities. From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Gabbianelli served as vice president, Finance where he was responsible for all accounting, tax and financial planning activities for Westinghouse and directed the internal audit and risk management programs. Beginning in 2001 he worked in the Nuclear Services business, first as controller and then as vice president of Finance and Strategy.
Prior to joining Westinghouse, Mr. Gabbianelli was controller and chief accounting officer for IES Industries Inc. where he was responsible for all accounting and tax matters and financial interface with regulators. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co., an international CPA firm.
Mr. Gabbianelli holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame, a master's degree in business administration from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Public Accountant.
